Your work as an elevator mechanic
As an elevator mechanic at Fortadio, you work independently and in a team on modern elevator installations. You install, maintain, and modernize elevators according to schedule and assignment. You perform Last Minute Risk Analyses (LMRAs), troubleshoot malfunctions, and actively contribute ideas for innovative and sustainable improvements. Safety always comes first, from the proper use of PPE to reporting unsafe situations. With your eye for detail and structured approach, you work on high-quality installations with professional top tools. Your workplace is tidy, your work methods are sharp, and you always think one step ahead.
You are a Fortadio elevator mechanic if you:
- Have at least an MBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Have at least 10 years of experience as a lift mechanic
- Have thorough knowledge of elevator technology, hydraulics, and control technology
- Hold VCA-Basis, NEN 3140, and a completed safety training
- Speak Dutch, English, and German
- Are independent, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant
- Are helpful, collegial, and just a bit stubborn
